A dazzling comedy of musical mischief
Another Op'nin, Another Show!
Ware Operatic returns to Hertford Theatre with Cole Porter's witty score, including the show-stopping numbers Brush Up Your Shakespeare, Always True to You in My Fashion, and So In Love.
Taking its inspiration from Shakespeare, Kiss Me, Kate recounts the back-stage and on-stage antics of two feuding couples during the performance of a musical version of The Taming of the Shrew.
Leading lady and superstar Lilli Vanessi is the ex-wife of the show's charming leading man, Fred Graham. Fred has a fondness for flirtatious, fresh-faced Lois Lane, whose boyfriend Bill is signing off his gambling debts in Fred's name! Chaos and confusion ensue when two gun-toting gangsters turn up on show night to claim what's owed.
The stage is set for an hilarious battle of the sexes!
